Responsibilities
As a Designer
- Participated in all levels of development discussions regarding the project
- Contributed to the design of features and systems within the game
- Liaised with developers in other diciplines in order to develop features that align tothe game's vision
- Created a data driven balance calculator in Microsoft Excel in order to better inform the direction of the game balance
- Made use of the game's statistics tracking in order to identify trends in player behaviour and discover correlations with player feedback
- Created the trailer for the game (see: top right)
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day running of the game's community at W3D Hub
- Modelled, textured and rigged up a number of 3D assets in the game
- Created audio for several of the game's vehicles and weapons
- Administrated and iterated upon the infrastructure that the team uses for day-today operations
- Wrote tutorials and documentation to enrich the community and document the W3D game engine
- Liaised with developers, adminstrators, moderators from with in the community as wellas representative from other communities in order to run a service that benefits our playerbase

Project Overview:
Red Alert: A Path Beyond empowers players to steamroll over Europe with the high-powered arsenal of the Soviets or repel the invasion with the technological superiority and cunning of the Allied Forces in a team-based FPS inspired by Westwood Studios' hit real-time strategy game, C&C Red Alert.
Tools Used
Proprietary Game Engine - Used the Mammoth Editor to create and balance object presets within the game
Notepad++ - Edited game's ini files in order to tweak engine features and balance the damage matrix
Microsoft Excel - Created and maintained a balance calculation spreadsheet to inform on the game balance
GIT Source Control - Used daily when pulling and pushing the game's files to the source repository
Trello - Tracked project work and made requests and notes for features
Confluence & Word - Documented game features and created engine tutorials
Slack - Tied GIT, Trello, Confluence and social media infrastructure into one central point of communication
Invision Power Board - Administrated the community and tied important pieces of infrastructure together
Classic C&C economy management comes into play, giving players the choice on what character classes and military hardware they want to bring to the fight. If the Ore Trucks that power the economy are protected, early infantry skirmishes give way to full combined-arms conflict.
