QA Ownership of the Blitz Game Mode
- Held QA ownership over the quality of the Blitz game mode
- Collaborated with developers to find and fix issues and provide feedback in an agile development environment
- Managed a team of testers and prioritised tasks on a daily basis
- Learnt how the game worked from a data point view in order to better inform the test process
- Created and maintained complex test plans in Microsoft Excel
- Created and maintained Confluence pages to inform on areas of the QA process
- Participated in regular playtests in order to verify the overall health of the game
- Liaised with developers to find and fix issues efficiently
Other Responsibilities
- Participated in playtests and brainstorming sessions to give feedback to the design team
- Attended E3, Gamescom and the worldwide press tour for the game; providing technical support for the game build, speaking with journalists/influencers/public and demonstrating the game

Project Overview:
Real-time strategy makes an explosive return to the Halo universe in Halo Wars 2. Lead Spartans, Warthogs and other classic Halo fighting forces in a brutal war against a terrifying new enemy on the biggest Halo battlefield ever.
Tools Used
Proprietary Game Engine - Used the debugging tools and commands to gather information on potential issues
Notepad++ - Viewed game's XML files in order to understand where issues could occur
Microsoft Excel - Created and maintained comprehensive test plans that were used throughout the project
Perforce - Used daily when interacting with the game's files
Orchard CMS - Utilised to test and manage entitlements for the services component of Blitz Mode
Confluence - Documented workslow and important information to pass to other QA
Visual Studio - Attached to the game in order to provide call stacks and other info to the programmers
Team Foundation Server - Created and tracked issues as well as informative dashboards
